No more cedar fair

I liked the Mean Streak as a kid and I’m sad that it’s gone. Yes, it was dated, the Steel Vengeance is good, but not worth the weight times.

If I have a million dollars and I'll will do this for everyone and I'm very sad for this amusement park and I wish I restore it as original Jazzland but if you give me over million bucks I will restore it just for the people?

Arrow has made some good coasters. I love all of them I have been on. Besides arrow dynamics my other favorite coaster designers are B and M

I went to IOA in June 2024 and was excited to see this attraction. I didn’t know it was permanently closed when I visited the park, and I wanted to see what Poseidon’s Fury was all about. I thought it was a dark boat ride of some kind. Universal should make this a 4D trackless ride or boat ride where you descend under the seas through various levels of the underworld and encounter various monsters from Greek mythology. I think they should keep the Poseidon/Lost Continent theming as it’s absolutely beautiful, and it feels like a nice area of the park. It just needs to be re-engineered into something a little more immersive and thrilling. Zelda sounds nice, but I think that would be a better fit for Epic Universe.

I think it's funny how everyone talks about how spitfire at six flags quiddiya has the tallest inverted tophat, but seems to forget that it's also the tallest inversion.

Slight correction you said mr freeze was an inverted launched coaster when I assume you meant inve4ting.

Personally some other rides at lake compounds deserved to be there more than the first family coaster, although Ik their just clones

B&M dive coaster would be a winner here. I live 10 min away.

I recommend both fun spot parks. Cheap no lines they both have some really good go cart tracks and it’s only 10$ a person to jump to other park to ride everything there

The bigger point is that Steel Vengeance is spectacular so it really doesn’t matter. But yeah, I did like Mean Streak. I would often awkwardly force at least one lap on each visit but that was mostly nostalgia and the fact that there was little wait. The ride was pretty underwhelming even as early as 1996. In 1991 however it was respectable yet still very rough.

I'm all for it but I would prefer if it were another racer, help with throughput.

Honestly looking back at these rumors, i think if Cedar Point were to go the Polar coaster route, i actually think they should go 1k feet like Stratosphere Las Vegas height heres why. Cedar point already has tall structures around the park, Space Spiral looked pretty tall when it was still open too, and the Polar coaster was should post to have an observation built with it and thats why so people would be able to see everything out from the deck, idk it might be crazy but thats what i think that.

Give Michigans Adventure a launched Vekoma or 150’ tilt coaster. Literally anything for my home park will do. And they even have an actual smooth SLC already in the park. Can’t go wrong! Also, didn’t Disney have the first 2nd gen Vekoma in Tron?

I will agree with Indiana Beach. It's a very cool park, and the new owner is doing a ton to make it even better. Though I don't think MI Adventure is under rated. I personally think with all the potential it has to be great, the only reason it might be under rated by enthusiasts is due to Cedar Fairs lack of interest in making it a better park. It doesn't get anywhere near the attention the other Cedar Fair parks get, and it is really just sad. I wish the guy who owns Indiana Beach owned MI Adventure. Seeing what he is doing there, you can bet MI Adventure would have a lot more rides by now.

There were plans to build a tilt coaster at Energylandia, but those plans never went through. What if Six Flags bought those plans and then decided to build that coaster at one of their parks?

I would love a vekoma multi launch with inversions at KI. Or a Copperhead/ Time Traveler. I think the park needs inversions with vortex leaving and personally i think the park is overdue for a truly 90+° drop

Frontier City has that 60 acres of undeveloped land that the park owns and Six Flags completely cleared out sometime in late 2022 or early 2023. Plus, FC works with Vekoma (Steel Lasso).

I could see SFMM get a tilt coaster since it’s completely different and as well SFOG With the CF parks I would like to see KD get a flying or their hyper model as of Carowinds and KI I would like to see a tilt more than a B&M dive

With the issues they've had with the Junior Flash coasters, I could see them pivoting to Vekoma to build several Junior Boomerang models.

You should also talk about what Six Flags and Vekoma are doing with their older coasters, 2 years ago SFNE retracked and put new trains on their SLC, this year SFA did the same and rethemed that entire section of the park, at SFDL, the Boomerang received 3 new pieces of track and they announced that the Mind Eraser is going to be closed this year for track reprofiling and new trains and ironically, the river rapids ride in nearby and has been closed for the past 2 years, they could see a retheme just like SFA.
